While declaring open the event in Port Harcourt Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi summarized the nucleus of the central demand of the region when he stressed the inclusion of fiscal federalism in the emerging constitution as a condition for all sections of the country to actualize their God given potentials. According to Amaechi, fiscal federalism would promote healthy competition among all states in the country as it will lead to diversification of our economy
